Background Business Model
Background

QuestGates Limited, Chartered Loss Adjusters and Claims Specialists, was incorporated in 2003 and grew out of the former Quest Gates Partnership. The Partnership's origins dated back over 30 years, during which time a strong reputation had been gained for providing high quality technical loss adjusting services, predominantly in the Liability and Motor sectors. QuestGates Limited builds on this successful history, both by reinforcing the expertise in these areas and by expanding the philosophy into other sectors, notably Property, Environmental, Subsidence and Counter Fraud.

A number of highly experienced adjusters have been, and continue to be, attracted to join QuestGates Limited, an independent private limited company that is owned and managed by forward thinking personnel who focus on technical loss adjusting, thus providing a powerful claims handling solution to clients.

Operating from a national network of 11 offices, QuestGates Limited has the capacity to deliver and the expertise to excel.

In 2005 QuestGates acquired the business of Beachams, a specialist liability adjuster with three offices. Following this, in 2006 another liability adjuster, The Mayne Partnership, with offices in Birmingham, Macclesfield and Worcester, was acquired. The staff and offices of both companies were fully merged into QuestGates' existing operations.

In 2007 the company further expanded into technology and engineering adjusting through an association with RM Adjusting, followed in 2008 by the establishment of an office in the City of London and the launch of two new divisions, Property Investors and QGV, a building claims validation service. The most recent development is the expansion of QuestGates' Counter Fraud capability, with an equity investment in Quantum Surveillance Ltd.

QuestGates is also able to provide global services via a network of international partners.
