Alan Dobson
BA Law(Hons), ACII, FCILA, FUEDI-ELAE
A main board Director, Alan is a highly experienced adjuster who is recognised as a niche market professional in the area of Environmental claims and related issues on a global basis. He has covered practically every aspect of Environmental claims including Chemical, Hydrocarbon, Microbial and Radioactive Contamination incidents, both First and Third party.
David Waller
LLB(Hons), ACII, ACILA
A loss adjuster for 20 years, David has specialised in Liability claims, working both in the UK and internationally. With a background in Complex Personal injury and Product Liability cases, in the late 1990s he became involved in Environmental Liability and impairment cases. His experience includes fuel oil and chemical spills, asbestos contamination, risks involving landowner/ agricultural claims and watercourse, fisheries and nature reserve pollution incidents. He is deputy to Alan Dobson in the Environmental Claims Division.

Rupert Frost
LLB(Hons), ACII, FCILA, FUEDI-ELAE
Rupert began his adjusting career in 1979 and has worked exclusively for chartered loss adjusters ever since. Originally a Property adjuster, he has concentrated on Liability claims investigation since the mid 1990s and has handled Major Personal injury and Property losses, as well as Pollution cases including Major incidents at a chemicals factory and fish farm. As a member of the Environmental team he brings a wealth of experience gained in both the Property and Liability fields.
David Hopper
ACII
With over 20 years experience in the industry, David has worked at senior levels for brokers, insurers and loss adjusters, specialising in Commercial Property and Liability claims. David complements the Environmental Claims Division as an experienced loss adjuster with responsibility for all aspects of the Claims Management process.
Maria Kearney
Maria was previously an internal adjuster for Davies Chartered Loss Adjusters where she was responsible for the pro-active management of a wide range of claims both Domestic and Commercial.Maria is multi-lingual (English, Spanish and French) and operates as a claims handler supporting the Environmental Adjusting team.
Richard Lawrence
Dip CII
Richard joined QuestGates' Environmental Claims Division in Maidstone in 2006, following 15 years investigative experience with two major insurers. In addition to supporting the Division's investigative resource, Richard is part of the central management team.
Terry Liggett
Terry joined QuestGates in 2008, with over 30 years experience as a Property loss adjuster. The majority of his work has been based in the north west for one adjustor, but he has also handled specialist projects throughout the UK for major insurers. His broad experience relates to commercial Property and Environmental claims, including fuel oil and chemical spills, watercourse and fishery pollution incidents.
Sam Mills
Bsc Environmental, Geoscience
Sam graduated from Cardiff University with a BSc in Environmental Geoscience. Thereafter he worked as a consultant project manager in the Energy Industry before working as a remediation engineer/environmental consultant for leading UK based environmental consultants/contractors. Sam assists the Environmental Team by providing technical input and assistance to ensure the most appropriate and cost effective environmental solutions are implemented for the benefit of our clients.
Jon Mockridge
Cert CILA
Jon, who has nearly 15 years Insurance claims experience joined the QuestGates' Environmental Claims team in September 2010 having previously been employed as a Large and Complex Loss Claims Handler for a Commercial Underwriting Group.
Clinton Slabber
Clinton originates from South Africa where he had worked as a claims handler for a major Insurance Company. In the United Kingdom, he has worked as a claims handler for two insurers, one in the private medical insurance industry, and the other within the Property and Liability Claims Department. Clinton joined QuestGates in August 2010.
