Meet the QuestGates Motor team.

Management Team (Alphabetical order)
Steve Thompson
Steve has well over 20 years' experience in the insurance industry, initially working for two leading Insurers before entering the investigation arena in 1993, where he has held Fraud Management posts and is highly skilled in both Counter Fraud and Motor investigation activities. Forming part of QuestGates' Senior Management Team, Steve has operational responsibility for the Motor Division, a role focusing on service delivery, performance management and FSA compliance.
Gary Woodhall
Having joined the insurance industry in 1989, working with a major insurer, Gary entered the investigative arena in 1993. With a career focused on motor claims, including Motor Insurance Investigator and Claims Inspector, he joined QuestGates from a position in Technical Management in 2004 and now oversees the business development of the Motor Division, concentrating on client relations, whilst retaining the senior technical role for motor claims investigation.
Technical Team (Alphabetical order)
Greg Bannister
Greg has almost 25 years experience in the investigation and handling of complex third party motor claims having held senior positions at both AXA and RBS Insurance. Greg joined QuestGates' Motor Division in 2006 as Senior Technical Supervisor and is responsible for the management and development of both personnel and product delivery.
David Gallagher
David joins us following a 19 year career with RSA Group, which was spent dealing with Motor Claims at a variety of levels, including Technical, Supervisory and Management. The last 9 years were spent specialising in Counter Fraud where his achievements include developing a Motor SIU capability from start up as SIU Team Manager, combining technical expertise and investigation with people management. He then moved to a role as part of the Counter Fraud Unit Management Team, with responsibility for Motor Fraud policy and strategy across the UK business, enabling the delivery of substantial annual Fraud savings whilst developing technical expertise and methods of identifying and investigating Motor Fraud.
Aaron Hurst
Aaron has nearly 15 years industry experience, having worked in motor claims for Endsleigh, Provident and RSA. In 2003, he joined the Motor Vehicle Repairers Association, eventually becoming Team Manager in their Corporate Division, working with their large commercial clients. Aaron joined QuestGates in October 2009.
Aaron McMullen
Aaron started his career with Eagle Star in 1993 and has for many years been involved in handling complex and catastrophic claims, including the investigation of multi-faceted motor fraud. Before joining QuestGates in November 2007, Aaron was with Inverita, the investigations division of Capita. Aaron forms part of QuestGates' Special Investigation Division.
Christelle van Niekerk
ACII
Christelle has worked in a technical role for both Axa and more recently, Allianz Cornhill, which involved training staff at their base in India. She has worked in both commercial and personal lines and now occupies a technical supervisory position, focusing on Special Investigations. Christelle joined QuestGates in December 2005.
Mark Pass
Mark started his career at General Accident in Sheffield in 1980, reaching the position of Claims Inspector with specialization latterly in Personal Injury Claims with responsibility for investigation and settlement of high value cases. When the company merged with Norwich Union, he moved to Manchester and subsequently became a senior member of the Motor Technical Team at Capita. Mark joined QuestGates in September 2009.
Bob Seeber
Bob joined the North Yorkshire Police in 1977, retiring in 2000 at the rank of Sergeant having been attached to the Road Traffic Department, investigating serious and fatal road accidents for most of his Police career. He became a qualified Police Accident Investigator in 1988 when he attended the West Yorkshire Police Academy in Wakefield. Bob joined QuestGates as an In-House Motor Investigator in 2001 and now has over 5 years' specific experience as a Technical Case Handler. Bob also provides training in the use of electronic locus plans to add value to RTA investigations.
Rick Saunders
Rick has worked exclusively in the motor insurance arena since 2001, having formerly served as a Police Inspector.

With a degree in Law, Rick has extensive experience in Operational, Administrative and Training procedures and brings a weatlh of investigative knowledge to his current Technical Handling role.
