His experience includes industrial asthma, deafness, upper limb disorder, vibration white finger, stress and dermatitis. He is currently chairman of the Liability special interest group of the Chartered Institute of Loss Adjusters.

With a legal and adjusting background, John has over 35 years experience as an insurance professional. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, a member of The British Insurance Law Association and a respected speaker on the liability and contractual aspects of the construction and related industries. Following the de-merger of Whittington, John became MD of BAI Claims Services Ltd and manages the BAI team in the handling of industrial disease claims.

Mark is an Associate Director with over 20 years experience of disease claims handling and investigation, gained with Municipal Mutual during the mid 1980s/early 1990s and subsequently within loss adjusting. The range of claims that he has handled and investigated includes respiratory disease, work-related upper limb disorder and repetitive strain injury.

David has over 35 years experience in employers' liability losses, involving complex liability, contractual and catastrophic injuries claims. He has a specialist background in industrial disease work, especially claims involving asbestos related diseases and osteonecrosis. David is also a member of the Industrial Disease Claims Working Party.

Stuart is QuestGates' Liability and Operations Director with over 25 years experience of investigating and handling all classes of industrial disease claims. He started his career with Iron Trades investigating employers' liability claims in heavy industry and has extensive knowledge of noise induced hearing loss, vibration white finger, asbestosis, work-related upper limb disorder and repetitive strain injury, occupational asthma and other diseases.

With more than 35 years experience of general insurance claims, Ian gained wide experience of employers and public liability claims during the time he worked for Prudential. In 1993 he joined Builders' Accident Insurance as a Claims Inspector and continues to handle their claims as Assistant Claims Manager. With a specialist background in asbestos related claims, Ian is responsible for the investigation and handling of many industrial disease claims.

Mike Collins
Michael Collins

Michael has been an insurance professional for almost 40 years and has extensive experience of industrial disease cases, as well as involvement with the Insurers' Committee for Coal Miners Knee disability litigation. Most recently, he has been investigating and reporting to the Treasury Solicitor on personal injury litigation and employment tribunal cases arising from claims against a number of government departments including The Home Office, MOD, DETR and DoE.

With 16 years of claims handling experience in specialist construction and local authority work, Aileen has an in depth knowledge of serious personal injury claims combined with construction industry contract experience. Aileen holds a NEBOSH National General Certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and specialises in vibration white finger and noise induced hearing loss claims having represented insurers on industry wide safety groups.

Jennifer has extensive experience of both the USA and London markets, in particular dealing with catastrophe and pollution claims as well as general liability claims from both an insurer and re-insurers viewpoint. She is highly experienced with employers' liability claims and in particular industrial disease work, and has a background in dealing with vibration white finger, noise induced hearing loss and asbestos related claims.
