Greg began his career with an insurer before entering loss adjusting over 15 years ago, during which time he has gained very wide property adjusting experience, coupled with extensive experience in account management and the development of bespoke solutions for clients. Greg is a main board director and Operations Director for Property Division.

 Paul Thomas ACII, FCILA |

Following an initial period with an insurer, Paul entered loss adjusting in 1980 and has worked predominantly in the South West and South Wales area, for which he has operational responsibility for QuestGates. Paul has extensive management and technical loss adjusting experience, having specialised in recent years in complex and large property losses, including numerous multi-million pound incidents. Paul also has extensive experience of managing corporate accounts.

Hugh has some 25 years experience in property loss adjusting, combining regional management with technical and major loss adjusting expertise. Hugh has operational responsibility for QuestGates' Property activities in Scotland, and has wide experience of managing corporate accounts and in dealing with large commercial claims in the licensed trade and leisure industries, both in the UK and overseas.

Originally from an insurance company background, Ross has nearly 20 years adjusting experience in the technical personal lines and commercial areas. He also has wide experience of client relationship management. Ross is a main board Director and Technical Director for the Property Division, responsible for technical compliance and development.

Over a 30 year loss adjusting career to date, Fergus has extensive regional management and technical adjusting experience in the North East, Scotland and Northern Ireland. He has particular experience of terrorist compensation claims for both the Northern Ireland office and the insurance market, and specialises in complex losses.

 Clive Bishop MRICS |

A Chartered Quantity Surveyor with more than 15 years post qualification experience, Clive initially worked as a Contractor QS on large civil engineering projects. Following experience as a professional QS for private firms and as Contracts Manager for a system building organisation, Clive entered loss adjusting in 1990 and has gained extensive subsidence, contractors all risks and commercial loss experience, utilising a range of procurement and construction methodology. Clive also has extensive major loss experience, being involved in many large and complex losses, covering industrial, leisure, residential and listed buildings. Clive is QuestGates' Senior UK Surveyor.

Adrian Bowness is an experienced loss adjuster with particular expertise in handling high net worth, commercial property and business interruption losses. During his 20 year career, Adrian spent many years at McLarens Toplis, where he was responsible for managing one of their largest UK offices.

A consultant to QuestGates, Heather is a dual qualified chartered accountant and chartered loss adjuster with 15 years experience specialising in major and/or complex business interruption and credit losses and other losses with a financial dimension. Her work includes multi-million pound business interruption claims, material damage, liability claims and general investigations.

 Tony Ryan |

With over 20 years experience of the insurance industry, including brokers, insurers and loss adjusters, Tony joined QuestGates in 2003 from McLarens Toplis/Capita, where he had been account manager. Initially responsible for managing and developing new accounts, as Quality Assurance Manager he now oversees the technical accuracy of reporting procedures, while also continuing to manage some insurer clients.

Phil began his career with Legal & General before gaining 12 years wide-ranging experience as commercial and personal lines loss adjuster with Miller Fisher. He joined QuestGates in 2003 from McLarens/Capita, where he was Zurich Commercial Team manager.

As an associate member of the South African Institute of Loss Adjusters, Justin has extensive experience of both the UK and southern African markets. He has handled claims across a wide variety of domestic and commercial classes, including property, fidelity guarantee, high net worth and major losses.

 Simon Jones LLB(Hons) ACILA |

Simon joined QuestGates in 2008 with responsibility for the development of the company's Lloyd's and London market business. With nearly 15 years experience, he was operations director for Carmichaels, where he was responsible for several commercial and HNW accounts. Prior to that he worked for McLarens/Teceris, where his adjusting experience included exposure to complex and major losses, coupled with operational and account management.

Terry has over 20 years experience as a Property loss adjuster. He joined QuestGates in 2009 from GAB Robins and has dealt with a wide range of Complex Domestic, High Net Worth and Commercial claims, both in the UK and abroad, particularly hurricane claims in the Caribbean. | |||||

Robin has worked in the insurance industry for just over 8 years. Initially, from a motor fleet background, he moved into adjusting around 5 years ago and has worked for both GAB Robins and Cunningham Lindsey. Robin has particular experience in Mid and High Net Worth, Property Owners and general Commercial work. He is currently working towards completion of his professional qualifications.
