QuestGates boosts major loss team

20 March 2019: QuestGates has added two new recruits to its fast growing major loss team.

Emma Robinson joins QuestGates as major loss accountant. Emma is an FCCA qualified accountant with over 20 years’ experience gained in a variety of different industries, including running her own accountancy business. She will primarily deal with the business interruption elements of major loss claims as well as providing assistance to the general property teams.

An ACILA qualified adjuster with over 20 years’ experience Neil Powell has been appointed major loss adjuster. Neil joins the business from Davies, having previously worked for Certo and Cunningham Lindsey.

QuestGates Head of Major Loss, Mike Ledgerton, says: “Since introducing our new approach to major loss a little over two years ago, offering our clients a slicker and more cost effective proposition, our division has experienced a dramatic increase in the volume of major loss instructions we are managing. We grew the number of losses managed by 92% in 2017 and then again by 89% last year. That is a direct result of having a team of fully qualified adjusters, all with extensive experience of major loss and all purely focused on handling major loss claims.

“To ensure the quality of service isn’t compromised by the increasing volume of cases and to ensure we offer clients full national coverage, we have continued to build the team over the past few months. I’m really pleased to be able to boost our service proposition further with the additional skills and expertise that Emma and Neil bring on board with them. ”
