QuestGates strengthens agricultural division

4 March 2019: QuestGates has strengthened its rapidly growing agricultural division with two new appointments.

Bringing over 27 years’ loss adjusting experience and a specialist in managing claims for farms, estates, rural businesses and private clients, Iain Adam joins the business from Agrical. Iain’s appointment strengthens the division’s capacity in Scotland.

James Walsh joins from Crawfords where he has spent the past 14 years as a property adjuster, managing claims related to the account with a major water provider in addition to agricultural and commercial claims. With over 25 years’ experience as an adjuster, James strengthens the division’s capacity in Wales.

QuestGates Head of Agriculture and Forestry, Frank McGaffney, says: “Since launching this new service offering by QuestGates a year ago, the team has gone from strength to strength drawing expertise from colleagues within the business who have brought their individual skills from our environmental, property, motor and liability divisions.

“The strength and depth of our team combined with the superior technology that we have in-house and our reputation for an unwavering commitment to service has seen demand for our services grow. At the same time, we’ve seen this sector of the market change and agricultural insurers are looking to develop the panel of adjusters they work with. I believe there is a tremendous opportunity for our business in this area of claims and I am pleased to add to our skill base with the appointment of Iain and James”
