Board of Directors
Chris has overall responsibility for all financial and strategic management, product development as well as managing our relationship with some of our largest clients. He has held senior management positions in both the Property and Liability adjusting sectors and has experience dating back to the 1970s gained with both insurers and major adjusting companies.
During his career Chris has been involved in practically all areas of loss adjusting, ranging from setting up the industry’s first managed contractor network, establishing call centres and claims management operations, right through to servicing corporate accounts and handling large and complex losses.

A Director and member of the Executive Board of QuestGates, Alistair has 30 years insurance claims experience, with most of these having been spent in the loss adjusting sector.
Alistair has responsibility for all aspects of business development, from securing new business to ensuring we manage existing client accounts effectively. He heads up our tender response team, has responsibility for our valuation service and new service development along with managing relationships with some of our largest clients.
Alistair is a member of the BIBA Claims Working Group, a past President and life Vice-President of the Nottingham Insurance Institute and a Liveryman of the Worshipful Company of Insurers.

A Director and member of the Executive Board of QuestGates, Greg has over 25 years insurance claims experience, with most of these having been spent in the loss adjusting sector.
He held a number of senior operational and client relationship roles prior to joining QuestGates in 2003.
Greg has responsibility for all aspects of Operations and has particular experience in developing bespoke solutions for clients and providing high quality service delivery with a focus on digital innovation.

Ross has a strong technical and client relationship background developed over 30 years in the loss adjusting market.
He has Board responsibility for our Compliance Function working with the Compliance Manager to ensure that the business is fit for purpose from a Conduct, Legislative, Contractual and Regulative perspective.
Ross has hands on involvement in our TPA service from a client and operational standpoint and also manages a significant number of our client relationships both in the composite and London insurer markets and across both brokers and corporate.
Ross is a member of the Executive Board, having joined QuestGates when the business was incorporated in 2003. Prior to this Ross held senior roles at another major loss adjusting practise, in both operational and account management.

Colin has over 20 years Loss Adjusting experience and is a chartered Insurer and Loss Adjuster. Before joining QuestGates in April 2014 he was Property Director of Cunningham Lindsey. As a Director of QuestGates Colin has responsibility for the Property division within QuestGates including the Loss Adjusting, Surveying, Special Investigation Unit and TPA teams.

Peter is a non executive director of QuestGates whose experience both as a Chartered Accountant and senior manager enables him to provide strategic support to the companies management team.
Peter was Finance Director of McLarens Toplis and subsequently Chief Executive of McLarens International Group.

Central Services
Julie joined QuestGates in 2014 as Operations Manager and has subsequently taken on the role of Business Solutions Manager, with responsibility for enhancing our business, with particular focus on customer experience and our people.
She has over 30 years experience in the industry gained with the likes of Commercial Union and Crawford & Co, with the last 14 years at Crawford’s being in Senior Operational Management roles in General Property, Commercial (which included HR) where Julie also gained invaluable experience of managing surge situations and Counter Fraud.

Stephen qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2000 with Haines Watts in Birmingham. Since leaving practice he has held a number of senior finance positions within a range of companies, including Finance Director of a specialist importer and distributor of hardware and DIY products and most recently as Reporting Manager at an Oil and Gas exploration business. Stephen heads up the QuestGates Finance Team at the Birmingham head office.

Steve is the Head of Digital Technology and Security and has over 25 years experience in delivering cost effective and business aligned digital strategies. His knowledge of systems infrastructure and data security is extensive and he has advanced knowledge of Microsoft technologies. He heads the I.T. team that develop and maintain the family of QUBE applications and is responsible for overseeing all technology operations and evaluating them to ensure that our systems support our technical expertise with market leading technology..
