QuestGates, the UK’s largest owner-managed loss adjusting and claims solutions group, has today announced the expansion of its award-winning Vector programme with the launch of a new Loss Adjusting Pathway, just days after Vector was awarded the prestigious NFUM Supply Chain Award for ‘Claims Initiative of the Year’ at a special awards event held at its Stratford-upon-Avon office on 10th June 2026.
Building on a highly successful model introduced 18 months ago, this significant next phase will substantially increase both capacity and capability within Vector. The expansion will enable QuestGates to handle suitable lower complexity claims even faster and more flexibly through advanced video technology, delivering superior customer experiences while enhancing operational agility and surge readiness across the business.
Colin Ganson, Chief Operating Officer at QuestGates, said: “Vector has proven to be a gamechanger, allowing us to support customers and clients more effectively on the right claims. By leveraging technology, we can progress cases faster, develop the next generation of adjusters whilst strengthening our surge capability with robust back-office support and additional capacity when needed. This latest development underlines our ongoing commitment to investing in people, technology and innovation, including generative AI, to set new standards in claims excellence.”
Operating as a fully functioning claims team rather than a traditional training scheme, Vector combines remote inspections and physical site attendance alongside structured development time. This enables emerging talent to gain hands-on experience while working towards industry-recognised qualifications, with the additional support of experienced mentors who pass on their skills and expertise to the next wave of talented QuestGates professionals.
The programme has rapidly evolved into an award-winning powerhouse, seamlessly integrating claims handling, cutting-edge technology, and career development. Its value was powerfully demonstrated during the severe weather events of early 2025, including Storm Éowyn, when Vector provided critical flexible support to the wider business at the height of demand.
In addition, the approach advances QuestGates’ environmental and sustainability objectives by minimising unnecessary travel, reducing carbon emissions, and delivering faster, less disruptive outcomes for policyholders.
Steven Campbell, National Operations Manager – Vector at QuestGates, added: “Vector has been deliberately built around structured talent development, providing emerging claims professionals with real hands-on experience and a clear pathway into loss adjusting. It also delivers scalable support during surge events and creates the perfect environment for us to test and embed new innovations that drive the business forward.”
