Having not been able to hold our annual Staff Awards lunch in 2021 due to the pandemic restrictions, it seemed even more special to bring together both our 2020 and 2021 winners at our Birmingham Head Office last week. After the challenging two years we have all faced, it was great to catch up with so many colleagues again in an informal and happy environment to recognise everyone who achieved “Employee of the month” and to celebrate this year’s winner. Such was the quality of the monthly winners, the directors made two special commendations – to Siobhan Bullock and Daniel Massey, before awarding “Employee of the Year” to Sue Gillies in our Environmental team, for her outstanding and repeated commitment to the highest levels of customer service. Well done, Sue!

The event also contained a slightly bitter/sweet moment as we said goodbye to Julie Kelly, our Business Solutions Director, after eight years’ service. Julie has made a massive contribution to the development of QuestGates and whist we are all sorry to see her go, we hope we gave her a good send off as she looks forward to spending more time with her family and other interests. Thanks for everything, Julie.
